Dr. Dinh has been practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner for over 10 years. She earned both her master's and doctorate of nursing degrees at Wichita State University and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has worked in many different settings, including non-profit organizations, acute inpatient care, corrections, partial day hospitalization, and private practice. Her specialty is in treating both adults and children with bipolar disorder. She also treats anxiety, OCD, PTSD, depression, eating disorders and ADHD.

Dr. Dinh is passionate about doing what she does because “We, as humans, all have emotions. Even the strongest can break at times. Mental illness does not discriminate and can happen to anyone in their lifetime. We need to de-stigmatize mental illness and normalize mental health treatment as a priority. My hope is to be able to provide my patients with the tools they need in order to be successful in whatever challenges they may be facing”.

Tien Nguyen, APRN, PMHNP-BC Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Tien comes with over 5 years of psychiatric nurse experience and three years as a medication management provider. He earned his masters at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Tien is able to provide comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, and medication management for all patients across the lifespan. He has worked in various settings, including both acute inpatient and outpatient.

Tien specializes in both children and adults with various psychiatric conditions including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, PTSD, and addiction. Tien is devoted to the field of mental health because, “When you feel the world is closing in on you and no one is there listening, I want my patients to know I will give each individual my undivided attention. I wish to instill a sense of hope in all my patients and help them understand their problems now are not permanent, and that there is a better tomorrow. I want my patients to know they are not alone in this difficult journey we called life. I hope to be along and share their journey from darkness and despair to a brighter and more successful future.”

Amber Moore, APRN, PMHNP-BC Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Amber has worked as a nurse for over 13 years and has devoted the past 4 years of her nursing career to the mental health field. Amber received her degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Prior to becoming a nurse Amber attended Kansas State University (KSU) and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Life and Community Service. She used this degree to work with children and adolescents at a community mental health center. Amber’s nursing experience includes hospice, nursing home care, hospital, and psychiatric outpatient setting.

Amber takes a holistic approach to mental health care and believes in treating the whole person with both therapeutic modalities as well as medication management. Amber is a strong believer in mindfulness and how the practice can help facilitate great change in our daily lives. Amber believes in the importance of radical acceptance and how this can help promote a therapeutic patient-provider relationship. Amber has a strong desire to assist her patients in overcoming the mental health challenges that might be preventing them from reaching their personal goals and helping maximize their potential for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.

In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, yoga, meditation, camping, and being outdoors.
